NLBA Western
Band Camp
Join us for an exciting week of music, creativity, and performance at the NLBA's Western Summer Band Camp, suited for students of all skill levels.
NLBA Western Band Camp
The Newfoundland and Labrador Band Association is pleased to offer a summer band camp in Corner Brook from July 20-24 under the direction of Katie Barrett.
This camp is designed for young musicians ages 12–18 and will offer three tiers to support a range of experience levels: absolute beginner, intermediate, and senior. Campers will take part in a fun, engaging, and supportive musical experience through ensemble rehearsals, sectionals, and other camp activities. Students will have the opportunity to develop their musicianship, build confidence, and connect with other band students in their region.
The week will conclude with a Friday showcase performance, where students will share what they have been working on throughout the camp.
We are excited to offer this opportunity in western Newfoundland and to continue supporting and strengthening band programming across the province.
