All About Camp
The Newfoundland and Labrador Band Association is pleased to offer a Summer Band Camp in Corner Brook from July 20–24 under the direction of Katie Barrett.
This camp is designed for young musicians ages 12–18 and will feature three levels of instruction to accommodate a range of experience and ability: Beginner, Intermediate, and Senior. Campers will participate in a fun, engaging, and supportive musical environment through full ensemble rehearsals, sectionals, and a variety of camp activities.
Throughout the week, students will have the opportunity to develop their musicianship, build confidence, and connect with fellow band students from across the region.
The camp will conclude with a showcase performance on Friday, where students will share the music and skills they have developed throughout the week.
We are excited to bring this opportunity to Western Newfoundland and to continue supporting and strengthening band education and programming throughout the province.
