Builder Award
The Community Builder Award is an annual award that is presented to member of the Newfoundland & Labrador Band Community.
CBA Community Builders are the people that create new initiatives for the band community. A recognized Community Builder engages lifelong learners, fosters community, builds bridges and provides support and connection on a regional, provincial and/or national level.
The 2024 recipient of the Community Builder Award for Newfoundland and Labrador was Mr. Doug Vaughan.
On May 5, 2024, the Community Builder Award was presented by Mrs. Sarah Comerford to Mr. Doug Vaughan on behalf of the Canadian Band Association. The award was presented during the NLBA's Rotary Band Showcase Concert.
